By accessing and using ChatPic (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use ChatPic.

What ChatPic Does
ChatPic is a free image sharing service that allows you to:
- Upload images (up to 16MB each)
- Set view limits (1 view to unlimited)
- Choose expiration times (1 hour to 30 days)
- Generate shareable links
- Share images privately without registration
What We Provide
- Free secure image hosting on our CDN
- Automatic deletion when expired or view limit reached
- HTTPS encrypted uploads and downloads
- Mobile-responsive interface
- No registration or personal information required
What We Don't Provide

Acceptable Use Policy
You may use ChatPic only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

❌ Prohibited Content
You may NOT upload or share:

- Hate Speech: Content promoting violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation
- Terrorism: Content promoting or supporting terrorist organizations or activities
- Harassment: Content intended to harass, threaten, or intimidate individuals
- Spam/Malware: Malicious code, viruses, or unsolicited commercial content
- Copyright Infringement: Content you don't have rights to share
- Private Information: Personal information of others without consent (doxxing)
- Impersonation: Content designed to impersonate others fraudulently
Enforcement

Your Responsibilities

Account Security
While ChatPic doesn't require accounts:
- Keep your share links secure - anyone with the link can view the image
- Don't share links publicly if you want content to remain private
- Remember: once someone views an image, they can screenshot or save it
Service Limitations & Disclaimers
No Warranty
ChatPic is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties, express or implied. We don't guarantee:
- Uninterrupted service or error-free operation
- That images will be available for their full expiration period
- That deleted images are permanently unrecoverable
- Any specific level of uptime or performance
Technical Limitations
- File Size: Maximum 16MB per image
- File Types: Common image formats (JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP)
- Expiration: Minimum 1 hour, maximum 30 days
- View Limits: 1 to unlimited views
Service Availability
- We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
- We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
- Server infrastructure may experience occasional downtime
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
What We're Not Liable For
- Lost Content: Deleted, corrupted, or inaccessible images
- Data Breaches: Unauthorized access to your images (though we use industry-standard security)
- Third-Party Actions: What recipients do with images you share
- Service Interruptions: Downtime, errors, or technical issues
- Consequential Damages: Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of ChatPic is limited to $0 (zero dollars), as the Service is provided free of charge.
⚠️ Important
Don't rely on ChatPic as your only copy of important images. Always keep backups of content you care about. Once images expire or reach their view limit, they're permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ChatPic and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Content you upload or share
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of others
- Your violation of any applicable laws
Intellectual Property
Your Content
- You retain all rights to images you upload
- You grant us a limited license to host and serve your images
- This license ends when your image expires or is deleted
- We don't use your images for any other purpose
ChatPic's Content
- The ChatPic name, logo, and interface are our property
- You may not copy or reproduce our service
- The source code and design are protected by copyright
Termination
By You
You can stop using ChatPic at any time. Simply don't upload any more images. Existing images will expire according to their set expiration times.
By Us
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Uploading prohibited content
- Abusive or harmful behavior
- Legal requirements or court orders
Upon termination, your right to use ChatPic immediately ceases, though existing images will still expire normally.
Governing Law & Disputes
Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with ChatPic:

- If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in UK courts
